DIRECTOR/ADMINISTRATOR
My name is Melissa Wayland. I am the owner of Just For Me. I have worked in the early childhood field since 1994. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from MATC. I also have my Administrative Credential, Program Development Credential and the Leadership Credential from UW Platteville. I have worked and studied in a variety of early childhood programs including a bilingual High Scope program, a Montessori program, a Parent Co-op program and a family-owned center until finally opening my own center. Early childhood is my passion.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we are the proud parents of 3 children, 1 dog , 2 cats. I enjoy the great outdoors, reading and listening to music.

Busy Bee Room
My name is Heather Kilian and I am the 1-year-old teacher at JFM.
I have been working for JFM for over 11 years. Before JFM, I was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. I am glad that I was able to have that time with my 4 handsome boys. I also have 2 canine kids and turtles and fish.
I love working with children and watching them grow and learn.

Grasshopper Room
My name is Erin Beckett and I am the Grasshopper teacher here at Just For Me. I have worked at two different childcare center and as a nanny. I have my assistant, lead, infant/toddler and am finishing up completing my Preschool CDA. I love working with children and watching them grow, learn and explore the world.
When I am not at JFM, I enjoy reading, dancing, watching movies and playing with my two dogs.

Hi, my name is Alicia. I have work in Early Childhood for almost 2 years. I have enjoyed working with Infants and Toddlers. Every day is new and filled with hugs and smiles! I have a beautiful daughter, the light of my life. I enjoy watching movies, spending time with my family and traveling.

Hi, my name is Erin. I grew up in Madison, WI. I currently live on my family’s third generation family farm in Deerfield. I have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful daughters. I am also, the proud grandma of three beautiful grand kids. I spend as much time as I can spoiling them:)
From the time I was a little girl I always knew I wanted to work with children. My Mom had her own in-home childcare, and I would help her with the children before and after school.
When my daughters became old enough, we joined Girl Scouts. I was a pack leader for both of their troops. I enjoyed teaching the group new things and working on our badges. As my children got older, I missed working with children. I decided to go into childcare.
In my free time I enjoy making greeting cards, crafting, and working on my garden on the farm. I also enjoy cooking canning fruits and veggies from the garden, and most of all, spending time with my family.

Lightning Bug Room
My name is Kristine Dean and I have been in the teaching/childcare profession since 2004. Iām originally from the Milwaukee area and moved to Sun Prairie in 2020. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Alverno College. I have a wonderful husband whom I married on Halloween on purpose. I have two great stepchildren and two wonderful dogs that all keep me busy. In my spare time I love to learn languages, history and anything new, traveling and being a gourmand. My goal in life is to never stop learning and experiencing!
I love teaching because to teach a young mind something new and to see their eyes and mind light up and connect to it, is truly an amazing feeling!
